Missing a package is not a great feeling. Or having it stolen from your porch. Why not get it delivered somewhere you know it will be safe, like the trunk of your car. If you would like to have your next Amazon package dropped straight at your car, congratulations, the company is rolling out In Car Deliveries with use of the Amazon Key app.
This is a new service and only available in certain cities at this time. Basically, you just let them know where you typically park your car and the delivery person will leave your package in your trunk. It only works with certain cloud connected vehicles, so even if you are in the right area, if your car is too old or not the right manufacturer, it just won’t work out.
I like this more than the idea of leaving packages inside my front door but it is still a bit invasive. Personally a lock box is more my speed but for some this could be the perfect solution. Check out the website for more information.
