Echo Buttons – play some games with Alexa and friends

Do you have an Alexa in your home? If you do, it’s likely that you use it mostly for basic things, music, research, and setting up shopping lists for Amazon. It’s not really seen as a way to connect with people in your life. But maybe that can change with the Echo Buttons, the buttons that add game play to Alexa ownership.

The buttons are like gamepads. They glow in different colors, signifying the different players. Although the service is newer, there are already a few different games that can be played with this device. All you need to do in order to set it up is ask Alexa and then you’re ready to play.

I don’t see it replacing board games anytime soon but the ease of use and variety of gameplay might help it make into the rotation of options. The Buttons run on 2AAA batteries and four are included in the pack with the devices. You can connect up to for Buttons per game session. You can grab these for $19.99.
