Our World in Data – this site tracks how we’re all changing

We hear a lot about how things have changed in our world but how much of that is true and how much is jut, well, future shock? Well, since we live in a future where data is easy to come by, it’s been compiled so that you can clearly see how change is happening on Our World in Data.

This site covers many topics. It tracks trends in food, health. Violence, culture, and much more to give viewers and idea of what is happening in our rapidly changing world. Is it actually rapidly changing? Or does it just seem that way? The data lets us know how things are really going.

The project is more academic than for the layman and although it’s fairly easy to read, it may not be the quick set of answers that anyone is looking for. The data can be downloaded for reading offline. It is available, in it’s entirety and can be made use of freely. If you have a few minutes, click around and see how the world is changing.

Donyae’s love for technology is based on a need to survive our future robotic overlords. Know thy enemy as you know yourself. But since even odds are on the zombie future, she has also learned how to prepare squirrel. You can find her on Facebook until the robots – or zombies – rise up.
