Ockel Sirius A – A Pocket Sized Windows 10 PC! [REVIEW]

The Ockel Sirius A is a Windows 10 PC in a very small form factor. It has been funded on Indiegogo and has finally reached it’s audience. It’s time to give it some heat.

PROS

  • It’s small and portable
  • Lightweight
  • Looks great
  • Colourful full HD screen
  • Works fast and snappy
  • Full Windows 10-copy, so no drawbacks
  • Front facing camera in decent
  • A lot of ports on the back to plug in a screen or mouse

CONS

  • $$$$$$$ (7-800$)
  • The 6-inch screen was a bit too small for me
  • Not good enough for gaming or video editing (also not intended for this)
  • It gets hot

VERDICT

The Ockel Sirius A is expensive, especially the pro-version coming at 800$. So for some people this might already be a big deal breaker. However: the Ockel Sirius A is fast, sturdy and has a nice and colourful HD-screen, so it’s worth the money. It’s not meant for gaming or video editing, but browsing, watching videos and doing some work on the go is perfect on this device. All the ports on the back make sure that you can plug in a keyboard, mouse and external screen. I used it with an external screen and the experience was a lot better, because it was easier to reach and see everything. However, I find the Sirius A definitely useful for when you’re on the go a lot and don’t want to take that big bulky laptop but still want to have a professional Windows 10 experience in the palm of your hands. You can find the Ockel Sirius A here.
