Android Messages – get your texts on the computer

Trying to break away from your smartphone but you miss that sweet, sweet texting? With Android Messages you can send texts from your main computer right over the internet. Which is pretty handy if you need to talk to people but don’t want to be stuck on your phone I guess.

This is another feature of the Android Messages app so in order to use this you will need to have the initial app. In fact, in order to set your computer up to send and receive texts, you’ll have to go through the setup with your phone.

Your messages will appear as a notification on your browser. This app works on all Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Microsoft Edge. It does not work on Internet Explorer but then does anything? You will also need an internet connection but that should go without saying. You can download the app in the Play Store and just follow the instructions on the link above to access the web portion.
