KickyPie – a free graphic art site for when you’re in a pinch

The digital world uses a lot of visuals which is why being able to do some custom images from time to time may come in handy. If you’re not so good with Photoshop or you just need something more on the free and quick side, check out KickyPie, the free online designer.

This site will help you make images to grace your posts and websites as well as custom cards and invitations and a slew of over visual media. It’s free, it’s pretty easy to use and you can get started right away, no login needed (although you can sign up with a user name and all that jazz).

It was pretty simple to navigate and use, but, unless you’re uploading your own photos, pickings are slim. It’s a lot of basic and clip art type images. The preview for images and fonts didn’t always work for me which also made things difficult. Still, for free and simple projects, especially when you already have your own art, this isn’t bad. And you can share it right to your social networks from the site. This is one of those sites where if you spend more time messing around with it, you get a better result. Check it out.

Donyae’s love for technology is based on a need to survive our future robotic overlords. Know thy enemy as you know yourself. But since even odds are on the zombie future, she has also learned how to prepare squirrel. You can find her on Facebook until the robots – or zombies – rise up.
