Peel – turn the corner of your wall into a portal

Ever wonder what’s behind a blank wall? Probably not, the wall is there to put things on, not be a wonder in and off itself. But what if it could be? With the Peel light, you can add a sense of wonder to your otherwise boring wall.

This light is very, very thin. So thin that once it’s attached to the wall, it will look like it’s part of the wall. As if a corner of your basic, whitewashed room was actually a portal to something fantastic. The whole effect is topped off with a folded corner, like you were turning the page of a book. But it’s not a book, it’s the wall.

This is part art project, part functional night light. The cord is designed to sort of hide in corner so even the power source won’t disrupt the illusion. It’s really too small to be considered lighting but it’s still a nice illusion. There’s no pricing, it seems this was more a concept but wouldn’t it be nice to have in your home?
