Tunity – listen to muted TV through your smartphone

There are TVs everywhere. Bars, gyms, airports, just everywhere. You can’t always hear them though, even when you want to. Tune into what’s on whenever you want to with Tunity, the app that lets you listen to what’s on TV, through your phone, even when the set is on mute.

Imagine you’re at the gym and you want to listen to what’s playing on the screen but surprise, they’ve got it on mute. Or you’re at the local spot for something to eat but you can’t hear what’s on the screen over the rest of the crowd. No worries, Tunity allows you to listen to audio from the television with your smartphone.

The app identifies live streaming and syncs the sound up with your device. So you can watch the screen and listen privately or hook your phone up to a speaker and share with friends. That being said, why wouldn’t you just turn the volume up on the TV at the point? Whatever, it’s an option. Use it anywhere. It is available for both Apple and Android devices.
