Sneaky Sugar – see how much sugar is really in your food

Sugar makes things taste good. The sweeter is found in many of the things that we eat and drink, a lot of in some unsurprising places which means that you may be accidentally getting more sugar in your daily intake than you think. Sneaky Sugar displays, in photos, how much sugar is in everyday products, using sugar cubes as a scale.

It’s not really a secret (anymore) that much of the food that we buy in boxes and containers come with sugar added, even foods that you wouldn’t think of having sugar like natural drinks and sauces. Sugar does more than just make things sweet, it’s cuts acids too and lets not downplay how important sweetness is. This means that we’re likely getting more sugar than we think.

An interesting photo series that puts things into perspective and may help people make different choices in what they eat. After all, a more knowledgeable person is a more empowered person. You can check out the photos on the website.
