Brain.fm – music for all parts of your life

Happy first day of National Novel Writing Month! Setting the right mood is the first step to getting a job done. Maybe you’re not trying to bust out 50K words this month but that doens’t mean you can’t go for for some brain music. Brain.fm is the site and app that helps you get your mind right using music.

This website allows you to listen to different music and sounds to help you get through the various parts of your day. Whether you need to focus, sleep, recharge, etc, the service provides a soundtrack suited for the task. The creators have worked with scientists to create the best playlists possible.

The site is free and can be accessed through the web directly or through apps on both Apple and Android devices. Sign up for an account and just push play. You get five free listens but after that, you’ll have to sign up for a pro account starting at $6.95 a month.

Donyae’s love for technology is based on a need to survive our future robotic overlords. Know thy enemy as you know yourself. But since even odds are on the zombie future, she has also learned how to prepare squirrel. You can find her on Facebook until the robots – or zombies – rise up.
