MAKERphone – build your phone

All the kids want phones these days. Next time it comes up, tell your kid sure, but they’ve got to build it themselves, that’ll throw them. Get this power with the MAKERphone, the phone you build and program yourself.

This is a kit much like many other kits that we’ve seen out there that make light bulbs or video game players. This one makes a not so attractive but functional phone. You build it from the ground up in a physical sense, you solder and connect all the parts.

You also program it so whatever is on there, you put there in true DIY fashion. Programs in Arduino and uses Python and Scratch. Currently being Kickstarted and you can get your hands on one of these for $89.
