Bee Brick – this brick is a hotel for bees

Solitary bees are exactly what they sound like. Bees that live by themselves during their lives. They have no hive, no queen, they are free bees! You can attract more of them to your garden by giving them somewhere to sleep. The Bee Brick is an innovative brick that is a home for bees.

This brick has a number of different size holes in it. This encourages solitary bees to come hang out and spend the night or a few. They don’t make homes, per say, they’re like backpackers but when they come to stay, they will help pollinate your garden and in general just add a happy atmosphere.

Since they don’t have anything to protect, they’re non-aggressive and won’t sting (unless really provoked). Just set it out in your garden and let the bees find their way. It comes in a number of colors and is simple to use. It’s a brick. You can get one for £27.50.
