Air pollution is a big topic in environmental discussions. The emissions we’re putting out into the air aren’t just messing up the climate (which is really not great) but it’s also messing up our health. With the rise of air pollution, we’re seeing poor health outcomes in our bodies as well and the only way to fix this is to stop it.
Breathing in the small particles that are put out by cars and the like really wreck havoc on our ability to breathe. This is threat not just to people who already have breathing issues, like asthma, but to everyone as some of these particles can make it into the blood stream and cause other complications.
Research is still ongoing as to how much bad air effects us but we can start helping to clean things up by paying attention to what emissions we’re causing in our own life. Maybe walk or bike a bit more instead of hopping in your car.
