Amazon Free Music – company in talks to start a new streaming service

Amazon really wants to be your one stop go to for, well everything. In their newest reveal, it looks like they’re going to be adding a free music service to their offerings so you can listen to your tunes without having to pay an additional fees.

Amazon already has some music available to subscribers through Prime as well as a standalone service that allows them to access whole albums by artists. It’s quite handy for music lovers especially when paired with devices like Echo.

The new venture would have a limited catalog, much like other streaming services. The idea, it seems, is to be a draw into subscribing, sort of like what Spotify does. Since so many people are already plugged into various Amazon services, this may end up working in the companies favor. The service may start as soon as this month.
