Higher Sea Levels – earlier estimates due to climate change may be wrong

The general news is that climate change is way worse than anyone originally thought so it should come as no surprise that one of the biggest problems, the rising of the sea levels, is also going to likely be much worse than originally planned for.

Originally it was though that the sea levels would go up just under a meter, which is still not great at all. A new study points to that figuring doubling which would be catastrophically worse. This would make large areas of coastal regions completely uninhabitable. Bummer for all that beach-front property.

That’s a joke. Beach houses are not a concern. Communities that live and thrive in those areas are as well as various buildings and structures like power plants. Many people would be displaced by this which will effect the world at large. The time to start planning for this is now.
