Emergency Water – here’s how to store and purify water

Everyone hopes that they will never be in an emergency situation but it’s better to prepared just in case. No matter what the emergency is, you need clean water to get through it. Here’s a handy website (with printouts!) that can help you figure out how to best purify water for drinking.

Did you know you can drink water with bleach in it? Not something that one would consider normally, probably, but it turns out very small amounts of bleach can purify water under certain circumstances. The other popular option is, of course, boiling.
