IP 2 Location. Find out the geographic location of an IP address or a number of them. Yes it’s simple, but it works. And you can embed the service on your web site and even buy the database. Not bad, eh?

Not bad except for the map presentation. I tried a result in Portugal (that’s in south-western Europe, for those who don’t know) and although it marks the location correctly, the map itself is centered in the US (go figure… *rolls eyes*)
A result in Paris was even worse, with the map showing mostly Asia, and with the French capital nearly off the limits.
As for the wisetrainer site: interesting, but the movies get annoying really quick. I’m more of a reader.
Hmm, says I live in London… so it’s only 430 miles out.
