New Zealand company Rakon has just announced the world’s smallest GPS receiver chip (size = baby’s fingernail). Look out for GPS functionality in watches Real Soon Now!
“Our R&D team has come up with a high sensitivity unit that can enable quite weak signals to be received, which is a real breakthrough in an industry that needs to have products that will function in urban environments with very high interference.” He says the company is now further developing the unit to provide up to three times greater sensitivity in its next generation, even before the first development is out the door.

I guess you *will* need GPS technology to track that thing down once you lose it. :)
Not to mention very good eyesight and a pair of teeny teeny tweezers! :-)
uhm… GPS in watches has been around for quite a while..
Oops, yeah. I suppose what I meant were ordinary sized watches, and not ones the size of grapefruit. :-)
This is good. Now I can implant one in my glasses and one in my wife so I can always find them.
Lance – coffee through nose. :-)
Its implantable to human body or creatures ?
