I have purchased two of these. I think they work very well…not great, but very well.
The reason I say not great is that whites still need a little bleach and tough stains to need to be pre-soaked. Also, never mix whites and colors like blue jeans.
But we never use detergents OR hot water, as advertised. These by themselves have saved us so much that the systems are starting to pay for themselves.
My suggestion, get one if you are doing laundry for three or more people.

I believe that the LaundryPure in a great product. But keep in mind that it works like detergent. Some pre treating for stains.
The price of the LaundryPure has come down also.
