Wireless Powerline.

SolwisePL-85PEW

The Solwise PL-85PEW is a Homeplug 85Mbps Ethernet adapter with a built in 54Mbps wireless access point. Try saying that with a mouthful of marbles. The idea is that it makes it easy to extend the pitifully short wireless range merely by plugging a unit into the nearest electrical wall socket. I’m becoming quite fond of Powerline technology, although whatever you do, don’t stick a hairdryer or shaver or any other electrical gizmo into an adjacent socket unless you want to see the connection stop dead (doesn’t like interference, see?). £69.18.

The PL-85PEW is ideal for anyone who wants to extend their wireless signal coverage for Internet access or to make an internal network. Built-in Quality of Service (QOS) for HomePlug also provides the necessary bandwidth for multimedia payloads including Broadband TV (IPTV), higher data rate broadband sharing, Online-Gaming, VoIP Calls, Wireless LANs coverage, Audio-Video transmission across the network as well as Network camera connectivity.
