The Mio A701 GPS PDA Phone. £389.95 says you’ve got a phone with just about everything crammed in there except the proverbial kitchen blender. GPS, 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth comms, SD slot, 128 MB ROM memory and 64 MB RAM memory, USB port and handwriting recognition. Pfft, who needs a Star Trek Communicator?

With the SirfStar III chipset incorporated the Mio A701 is capable of quick, reliable satellite fixes. Tri-Band GSM/GPRS phone functionality ensures that the A701 can be used in most countries and for internet and e-mail access. Windows Mobile 5 is pre-installed and this provides new features including persistent memory and the latest office applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Media Player 10.
