Super X USB OTG Portable Drives. Ferret Prediction: We’re going to see a lot more of this type of USB On The Go (OTG) drive on the market over the coming year or so. The secret sauce is in the fact that you don’t need a PC and they are battery powered. Great for, you know, backing up digital cameras or other devices while on the go. Watch this space!

When plugged via USB port of your computer, the Super X doesn’t require any external power. As a stand alone unit, the Super X gets powered from the AC Adapter or 4 AA Battery pack supplied. It doesn’t have any internal battery making it very compact and lightweight.
