MusicLens. Super cool free app to help you find new music via a whole heap of sliders to input mood, loudness, tempo etc. Lovely interface, interesting results. Definitely worth a bookmark. [Via Metafilter]

With MusicLens, music lovers can expand their own personal music repertoire with songs that they perhaps did not know about before, or with songs they could not previously describe in order to search for them.

nah, not impressed, sorry. http://www.pandora.com is MUCH MUCH better. All you need is a US postcode (90210 for instance :) ).
Musiclens seemed to teem with europop trash from all era`s and speeds, no matter what I put in the settings (eg asked for `now`, but still got dodgy cheesy tracks thrown up from the 80`s…. hmmmm). Although I love `The Hoff`, I don`t want to listen to his music.
