Analogue Projection Clock.

Analogueprojectionclock

The Analogue Projection Clock. None of yer cheapo, nasty digital projection rubbish here. This is yer classy, round face, sweep hand analogue glory on your walls or ceiling. Allow yourself a little luxury at $159.95. Or just buy a $5.00 wall clock. Your call.

The bright clock face image can be up to 3′ in diameter depending on the proximity of the projection box placement to the wall, and the clock shows Arabic numerals at the cardinal points. The sturdy projection box is made of durable injection-molded acrylic that is completely transparent, revealing the internal lamp, mirrors, and lens mechanism that generates the light projection. The lamps bulb is an 80-watt halogen that generates 700 candlepower to create a crisp image…

  • I can probably get a hold of my grandfather’s old projecter and rig something like that up. Anyone want to pay me $150 for it? I think I’ll stick with my $7 watch.

  • At night can’t read a watch, or an ordinary clock on a bedside table, without glasses. A large clockface projected onto the bedroom ceiling? Brilliant! Admittedly mine’s digital – but it’s in colour! (and radio controlled) One of my best gadgets – so don’t knock the concept.
PS: Red, please look out for one with an AV input.

  • AV sounds interesting Mike, I’ll keep an eye out. Or ear. :-)

  • I think the idea is good. I arrived here because I was shopping for a clock to project the digital time, day of the week, and date for my elderly mother-in-law… or else have a large enough display that she can read it across the room. Anyway, your clock didn’t meet her needs… but it is still a cool idea. Need to get the price down however to sell many…
