    I’ve played with something like this and it could be fooled by holding a picture of the person it’s trying to recognise up. Not very secure really….

    Yeah, but what about twins…? Still have to go for the finger print method. At least finger prints are always unique.

    Not really foolproof no, but if I had to choose between simply holding someone’s picture before the recogniser or find a spy-ish way to copy someone’s fingerprint, then I have to go for the first one. ;-)
