Multiply. I’ve been playing around with the Multiply personal portal for the past few days and it’s excellent. Think of it as an online stage where you can strut your stuff to friends, strangers and family. You can run a blog, store and show off your photos, music and videos and also maintain a calendar so your friends and family can keep up with your rad lifestyle. All sounds pretty ho-hum eh? But the secret sauce lies in the fact that it’s got a fabulous interface. Very easy to setup and use, cool uploader tools, and templates that let you apply nice design schemes to your area. You can even post your own recipes and have your own classified adverts for stuff you want to buy and sell.
Of all the recent social network – ghastly term – services I’ve seen recently, this one really works. Kind of a mySpace for adults? The only problem I can see right now is getting a large enough crowd to use it, since it’s this late into the market. But if they do, it’ll be a winner.
