Sunflower Network – computer help on tap

Sunflowernetwork

The Sunflower Network is a pretty clever computer help line service for consumers. You enter your problem, how much you’re willing to pay and click the help button. If you’re offering enough and there’s someone who can help, they will contact you instantly via chat, screen sharing and/or telephone. Hmm…I wonder what percentage of user problems nowadays relate to not being able to get online, quite high I suspect. Nevertheless it’s definitely an interesting idea, and the fact that you can install a Firefox Plugin to add a Help Toolbar to your browser is a nice touch.

The Instant Computer Help tool bar immediately connects you with Sunflower Network’s computer experts. Simply type in a brief description of your computer problem, and select the price that this answer is worth to you. These agents are instantly notified of your help request — their responses to you will appear in your browser. Choose an agent based on their profile and rating, and you’ll be connected by text chat, screen sharing, and telephone, for rapid problem resolution. If the agent can’t resolve your problem you don’t have to pay! Payment for services is handled through a secure connection with PayPal.
