The RoadBox is a vehicle accident camera system which incorporates a speed and acceleration monitor to give you some all round information about the circumstances leading up to the crash. 14 seconds before and 6 seconds after, actually. It’s only 8 frames a second and VGA quality, so don’t go expecting any George Lucas footage, but it might help out some. The main problem of course is that accidents happen in all sorts of directions, not just facing forward.
It automatically senses accidents and record real-time screen of 14 seconds before and 6 seconds after the crush. Synchronous recording of acceleration speed data is provided. You can also record anytime by pressing REC button on the back of the camera.
