The Solar Desk Wind Turbine is one way to show some consideration for your planet. OK, so it doesn’t actually generate any…ahem…power, and it’s only 24 cm high, but what the heck. It’s solar powered, so it runs on green, and it’s only $35.98 (£19.99) so it won’t require any government funding. Which is a Good Thing.
The Solar Desk Wind Turbine, is cool little kit that brings the green movement to your desktop, and reduces your carbon emissions (well, not really, but it feels good). It comes as a kit and took us just under five minutes to stick together – there are only 11 parts to it, and in no time we had a beautiful wind turbine on our desktop. Either bright sunshine or your desk light (not quite so green) will get the prop turning thanks to a solar cell mounted on the top, it really is pretty darn cool.
