The Clever3000 Home Server is a media center with an internal 1.5 TerraByte RAID array of hard disks (2TB in total), 2 GB of RAM and twin analogue/digital television tuners on-board. Yep, this is not yer grandpa’s media center all right. Throw in a DVD recorder, enough connectivity to sink a battleship and a price of £3347.58 and should be realising that this is for serious punters only. Doesn’t look like an Intel powered PC though, does it?
The Clever3000 is a high specification, high performance PC running Windows Media Center Edition (MCE) on an Intel Core2 Duo E6600 processor, and an Intel 975 chipset supporting Dolby Master Studio. Like the other Clever technology media center PCs it has been designed specifically for MCE, but it brings the convenience of all of your home entertainment equipment into a single, very user friendly, device. Like normal TVs (but unlike PCs) the Clever3000 has an instant on/off switch, courtesy of its Viiv technology.
