Philips DECT Baby Monitor – lullabies and LCDs

Philipsbabymonitor

This Philips ‘Superior’ Baby Monitor uses DECT wireless technology, which as anyone will tell you, is one of the best wireless transmission systems around. That translates into clear sound over multiple channels. The device also transmits baby’s room temperature, can double up as a nightlight and even plays soothing lullabies to the little tyke as they lie there gurglingly, implaccably awake at 4am in the morning. $199.95.

The baby monitor plays five different lullabies, has a nightlight function, and an integrated thermometer reads the ambient temperature in your child’s bedroom and displays the information on the parental handset and the baby monitor LCDs. The cell phone-sized handset has a range up to 150′, allowing you to monitor the sound in your child’s bedroom while y ou are in another room or outside. The handset controls the monitor’s lullaby and nightlight functions, while audio and visual digital signals warn when the audio link is broken between the handset and monitor or when the handset needs to be recharged.
