The Big Ben Blue LED Clock is big. Oh yes. Of course the real Big Ben is bigger. And older. And probably more suited for sticking on tourist postcards. But what do we know? Anyhoo, this is the perfect timepiece for a Texan RV camper van wall. $119.95.

4:20 or 4/20 (pronounced four-twenty) is a term used in North America as a discreet way to refer to cannabis and, by extension, a way to identify oneself with Cannabis culture. It is widely accepted that in the early 1970s, a group of teenagers at San Rafael High School in San Rafael, California used to meet every day after school at 4:20 p.m. to smoke cannabis at the Louis Pasteur statue.[1] [2]

Cannabis users gather on April 20 (“4/20″ in the United States dating shorthand) to celebrate and consume cannabis. “4/20 friendly” is sometimes seen on advertisements for roommates, indicating that the current occupants are tolerant of cannabis users.[3]

A well-known proposition on the legalization of cannabis[4] was entitled Proposition 420. This bill promoted use of marijuana for medical purposes, stating that persons possessing or cultivating marijuana for personal medical purposes with approval by a physician is not subject to conviction.

April 20th is the official “birth day” of the Captain Cannabis comic book character. Created during 1976 by comic book artist and animator Verne Andru, the Canadian Copyright Office issued a Certificate of Registration for the Captain Cannabis character dated April 20, 1977. This marks Captain Cannabis as the earliest documented and verifiable cross-reference between the April 20th date and the Cannabis
