This problem, which is as old as the toilet itself, has been solved by a company based in North London who have invented a toilet with a lever to lift the seat and cover for the man and an automatic system which returns the seat and cover to the down position when the toilet is flushed. The man does not have to touch the seat or cover and the ladies always find the seat and cover clean and in the down position. The mechanism is entirely powered by the water that fills the cistern. This water returns to the cistern as the seat and cover descend. No water is actually used. Fitting a Future Toilet in your bathroom is exactly the same as fitting a standard toilet.
