Night Vision Web Cam – seeing in the dark so you don’t have to

Nightvisionwebcam

The Night Vision Web Cam. Because you never know when you’re going to need to chat to someone in the pitch dark, eh? £24.95.

Seeing in the dark has never been that easy, unless of course, you switch the light on! However, thanks to a clever Night Vision Web Cam from A4-Tech this irritating problem can become a thing of the past. The webcam can be used as normal through out the day, and the smart clip-on design means it can be quickly and easily attached to the top of your LCD/TFT monitor or notebook. Additional features include, automatic white balance, digital zoom, snapshot button, 1.3 mega pixel (interpolated) instant still image capture, and motion tracking.

This works exactly like the MSI Starclip I have for a year now. It works by emitting infrared light through it’s leds whereafter the camera picks it up. Basically an exploit since most camera’s already can pick up infrared :)

USB1 or USB2? IIRC you can’t use more than 1 webcam at same time, if they’re USB1.
