Virustotal is a free anti-virus file scanning service. Upload or email them a suspicious file and they’ll tell you whether it’s sinister or totally innocent of all charges. The service submits the file to several of the main antivirus engines which sounds like a pretty good idea. Worth a bookmark.
Virustotal offers a free service for scanning suspicious files using several antivirus engines. Use the upper textbox to select and send any suspicious file to Virustotal for a scan. If you wish, you can also send files using your email client.
