MobileViewer is a Java program which gives control of up to 16 CCTV cameras from a GPRS enabled mobile phone. Yep, not only do have to suffer a shed load of cameras watching our every move, but now we’re going to get people doing the surveillance from their bath, pub, holiday home or desert palace. How perfectly beastly. And if you stick one of their £99.00 ConnectVu webcams on the other end, you’ll be able to snoop on someone in the dark too.
MobileViewer enables users to monitor virtually any camera or video source live from their Mobile phone. Built on the BREW & J2ME platforms, MobileViewer provides the user with a high quality and secure connection to their business or home while they are away. MViewer ensures faster response times to real time security related events such as vandalism and theft. Coupled with our Security software running on our Servers, users can set up motion detection profiles, time-lapse recording, alert notification, and live monitoring to any location. Monitor live while recording the event for possible use in court.
Really cool stuff.
I think this can be used for home security tool.
This sounds perfect for home security. It's convenient being able to monitor you home security remotely, and I imagine most people would check it from the office or while they're on holiday.
