IsatPhone Dual Satellite Phone – the world’s cheapest satellite phone

The new IsatPhone from Inmarsat is being marketed as the world’s cheapest satellite phone. The feature set looks pretty good too. It’s pocket sized, has 2 hours 40 minutes talk time, features dual mode GSM 900 and satellite reception and gives sat coverage in Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Pretty useful for jungle dwellers and the like eh? Priced at $775.00 (£400.00).

IsatPhone is one of the most compact, robust and lightweight satellite phones on the market. It is ideal for business travellers and personal users who travel or work in areas where local networks are unreliable or non existent. The product is supplied with an antenna, phone charger and cable, wired hands-free unit and slim battery pack.
