The Quit Smoking Plugin for WordPress is a great tool for the brave. Install it onto your blog and let the world know how long you’ve given up for, how much you’ve saved and just how much good you’ve done your lungs. Conversely…

This plugin displays a counter showing your current quit statistics including time quit, how many sticks you haven’t smoked, how much money you’ve saved and how many hours of lifetime you’ve saved. Hopefully it’ll be a good plugin to motivate you, as well as motivate me. Quitting smoking is difficult.. but not impossible. Stay strong!

A nice idea in principle. Presumably if you do well there would be more carrot and a bit less stick – messages or email alerts telling you how well you’ve done. Be interesting to see if anyone does a service like this on mobile for people on the move, too.
