Two weeks ago I bought a vintage 35mm camera from the flea market, which is lots of fun to play with. But if I had known about the Konstruktor DIY Kit from the Lomography people, I would definitely have chosen one of them instead.

Gerber Groundbreaker – the ultimate multi-tool for wiring adventures (yes really!)
The Sonic Screwdriver better watch its back, there’s a new game in town. The Groundbreaker is a multi-tool suited for wiring “adventures”. Of course, if you describe the work of wiring anything as an adventure, I’m not entirely sure I should trust you with the job.

What’s really great about teh Internets is how easy it is to get exposure to stuff you wouldn’t usually see. Take the wide world of hardware hacking for instance. Clearly populated by incredibly intelligent beings from a distant galaxy, this community has up to now lurked in hidden basements across the world, dreaming up cool new toys and building stuff…just for a laugh. Read MoreThe Logitech Mouse Double Click Problem and How To Fix It!
We’ve long had a love hate relationship with Logitech mice. On the one hand they’re ergonomically designed and feature the wonderfully useful hyperscroll wheel for sweeping through documents and web pages, but on the other they suffer from a fundamental fault after a few years of use, when the mouse buttons start to fail (note that other mice also seem to suffer from the problem, although we’re not sure whether that’s because they’re OEM models made by the Logitech factory). Despite our rant…
