Application Mover. Ever wanted to move a program from one hard disk or location on your machine to another? Then you may need this little $15.00 utility.

Application Mover is a tool that relocates installed programs from one path to another on your hard disk. Application Mover takes files found in the path specified in the ‘Current Path’ field…and moves them to the ‘New Path’ path. Application Mover scans the windows registry for references to files located in the ‘Current’ field and changes those references to the ‘New’ path…Finally, *.ini and Install.log files present in the original program path are checked for strings matching the old path location. If found, these strings are changed to the new location.

  • So you mean PC people soon can move programs around? Something we Mac users have been able to do since 1984? And we don’t need no extra programs, just click’n’drag to the other place.

When will you swicth to Mac?

  • Hey, us hard core DOS users have been able to do this since 1983 when IBM added support for those massive 10mb hard drives and included directory support ;->

  • Hah, I will not be drawn into a 'my mouse has got a better button than yours' argument. It's demeaning and petty. And no-one ever gives in, even if they get an Indian rope burn out in the playground after class. :-)
