CleanHaven is the ultimate text cleanup freeware program. Most programs of this type will cope with one or two functions, like stripping out leading characters or reformatting badly laid out text, but this puppy does it all…and then some.
Not only will it handle conversion of columns and tabular data, but also convert standard ASCII email addresses to web URLs, add salutations to names (e.g. add the Mr and Mrs to John and Sarah Ferguson) sort numbers and much more. If you’re regularly doing work with plain text, or converting text from one format to another, this is the program for you. It’s fast, clean and very very useful. CleanHaven is a program designed to make the cleaning of text much easier. The cleaned text can be reset as the main text with additional cleaning performed. Once finished the cleaned text is available from the global cleaned text window.
