iCorrect – the universal website for correcting media lies

Icorrect

iCorrect, where have you been all these long years? A site to correct the lies which the media peddles? To let the wronged provide a public rebuttal in their own words? Astonishing.

Icorrect2

Of some worry, however, is the fact that the site costs $1000 a year to join, which means you’ll find the rich and famous there, like Cherie Blair and Tommy Hillfiger, but forget about us poor saps at the bottom of the money tree, we’ll not have a chance to hit back. Ahh, unless we can hire a high power PR company with an iCorrect account ($5000 a year).

Ah well, at least it’s some small step towards a more accountable media, pitiful as it is.

 1. ICorrect is a serious website that deals with negativity, away from all the positivity of a general website. 2. ICorrect is a website that carries a permanent catalogue of corrections against matching accusations, each chosen at the discretion of the Corrector. 3. ICorrect is not fleeting nor temporary, unlike Twitter or YouTube or Facebook, all of which ICorrect augments and compliments. 4. ICorrect enables the Corrector to post precise corrections, without the danger of third parties quoting them out of context. 5. ICorrect will always ensure the true identity of the corrector, by insisting on a reliable reference from each applicant.
