  • 100 km is about 62 miles, not 30 miles. If the range is 130 km as stated above, that’s equivalent to about 80 miles. Unbelievable.

  • This will take ~ 100 watt base station and 30 watt handheld to even come close to these claims in the low band spectrum. There is no way in hell you want your grey matter anywhere close to this phone.

  • wow, but from that distance, anyone with a portable radio scanner can listen in on you calls. This looks like a better alternative than a cellphone (except no SMS, video,etc)
