Breadbox PC

Mmm, someone went out one day to IKEA and bought a bread bin (OK, breadbox to you) and actually slotted a PC innards into it. The result is a small, blue, silent thang. That doesn’t stop your loaf from going stale. Amazing!

Give till it hurts

The Makethatdifference.com site is a sort of portal for online donation services. You know, like The Hunger Site and things. The design’s a bit frame heavy for my tastes, but the sentiments seem to be sound. A few minutes frenzied button clicking each day may even make a difference, you never know.

It’s for you-hoo!

Somebody giving you hassle on the streets? Then you need the Stun Gun Cellphone. 180,000 volts of shock dispenser which looks exactly like a mobile handset. Ouch! Observation tower

The Nokia Observation Camera is a really cool tool. It’s basically a CCTV cam with an in-built SIM slot which will shoot and transmit photos via GSM on command. It also sports a nifty motion sensing feature which will shoot and send automatically. No word on price as yet. I’m rather intrigued by the fact that the Nokia press page features a pregnant lady. Is this likely to be a new trend in handset marketing from now on?

WinDriversBackup is a freeware utility for archiving Windows system driver files. Cool app. While we’re on the subject of cool utilities, check out HotKeyControl XP for creating hot keys and Application Mover which lets you relocate programs on your PC. …oh and the Nvidia Refresh Rate Fix tool is cool too!
