Robbie gets the card.

Apparently superstar Robbie Williams is the first artist ever to release a new album simultaneously on CD, vinyl and…gasp…MMC card. Of course it’s not the wee Rab hi’self what’s doing it, it’s those very tech savvy peeps at EMI, but you know wot I mean. Apparently it’s designed to fit into high end Nokia phones, which leaves a whole host of questions hanging in the air, don’t it?

Remote possibilities.

Remote Controls – your one stop shop for replacement remote controls. Could be a useful place to remember. I wonder what the ratio of lost remote controls to devices is? Better than 30% I reckon.

Using the Love-Detector Cell Service is as simple as dialing the access number, and your friend’s phone number right after… Once the…

Atomic wrists.

An atomic wristwatch? Er, not right now thanks! ‘Scientists at the National Institute for Standards and Technology in Boulder, Colorado, have taken portable time keeping to new levels of accuracy with the creation of the device, which is driven by inner workings barely bigger than a grain of rice…By contrast, the atomic clock would be accurate to within a second every 300 years, making it more than 1,000 times more reliable than a very good wristwatch.’

PALV.

The PALV concept vehicle looks interesting, in a Hell’s Angel meets James Bond kinda way. But do you really think that we’re going to see the skies littered with tiny gyros anytime soon? No, me neither. [Thanks Graeme] ‘What happens if you cross a gyrocopter with a car and a motorbike? The PALV. A personal air and land vehicle.
