Power tester.

The Digital Battery Tester. £5.99. Useful little widget for battery users everywhere, especially if you’re fed up fiddling around with a multimeter to check on old cells.  The LCD display of this Digital Battery Tester clearly indicates the voltage of D, C, AA, AAA and 9 V batteries, especially as there are two different scales for 1.5 V and 9 V batteries. It’s compact design is another advantage.

USB Cup warmer.

USB Cup Warmer. At last, a geeky grande half-decaf, skim, foam but no whip, hazelnut latte with sprinkles warmer that actually looks as though it’ll work. £9.99 ($16.48).  Why is it that a really good cuppa always seems to cool at 10 times the normal rate when you’re working at your computer, it’s really very annoying. Well at last there’s a suitably techy solution in the USB cup warmer. Simply plug this little gadget into your USB port, wrap the…

Syn-ful future.

The Ford SYN US concept car. With its slit windows and menacing front profile this concept urban vehicle looks like something out of Judge Dredd.  An armoured car SUV for the terminally frightened perhaps? Look well suburbanites, for this is your post-Hummer future.  The architecture of the SYN US comes from the Ford Fiesta and the inspiration definitely came from bank vaults and armored cars – this concept’s exterior design immediately communicates that it takes security seriously. When parked and…

Will this do for I-90 travel what the X-Prize promises for high 90K travel? Or will it all end up a…cough…damp squib?  The web site is a bit weird (read sparse), but it all looks kinda kosher…er…doesn’t it?
