Thank you. $9.99.  This compact flashlight can be charged easily and quickly (in a couple hours or less) and operate continuously up to 3 hours on a full charge. GeoTagger – GPS tags for digicams

The GeoTagger is a small box which sits atop your digital (or film) camera hotshoe and records the precise location and direction of every photograph you take. Cool stuff, eh? You can use it to make better maps, to annotate Google map mashups and all sorts of stuff we haven’t thought of yet. The only thing is you need a Garmin GPS receiver sitting on top to deliver the actual tagging info, and you also have the merge the tag…

Bless this cable

The Bless Cable Bangle. Ah…you see cables are ugly. And multicoloured bangle thingies are art. So why wouldn’t you want to put the two together and try and make a statement about love? Or something. [via TechnoToy]

Splice – music mashups

Well if colour was money, Splice would be a multi-rich play-a. Bright, cheerful and full of Web 2.0 joie de vivre, the site lets you mix, record, listen and chat music with your friends and enemies. OK, maybe not enemies. They have to use Enemiestr. Anyway have fun. [Quick note guys – I do not like having to sign up to learn more about your service. Kind of the wrong way round, if you get my drift!]

The $1 lightbox

The $1 Lightbox. This cheapo DIY lightbox could be useful if you do a lot of eBay photography, or even if you just want to get into doing some still life hobby stuff. Five sheets of paper, some tape and a daylight bulb. Which actually probably makes it more than $1.00, but we won’t quibble with a good idea.  Ever wanted to do product shots but don’t have the bucks to spend on a proper light tent? Why not build…

Fortuneball Deluxe.

The Fortuneball Deluxe. Tomorrow you will wake up and realise that you have wasted £69.95 on a toy that knows less about your future than does George W Bush III. But be of good cheer, at least you will be able to rely on the in-built clock, calendar and pretty ‘ambient light’.  The core of the Fortuneball is a computerised fortune prediction system which uses individual birthday data to tell you as much as is possible about your personal moods on…

Bamboo Fan Cap.

The Bamboo Fan Cap. Without question the single most hideous solar powered implement we have ever featured on these august pages. No really. Even the pickled newt’s head solar cigar cutter didn’t freak us out as much as this. Priced at a highly debatable £10.50. Go on, treat yourself.

Turn turntable, turn.

Nostalgia Wooden Player. It appears that the Chinese have discovered vinyl. And wood…MDF. And cunningly thought about combining the two in totally innovative and yet endearingly retro ways. Crouching needles, hidden speakers?

Stainless Steel Restoration Kit.

Stainless Steel Restoration Kit. It may sound boring, but if you like shiny, you like shiny, dig? The long and short of it, dear reader, is that this kit has the potential to make someone, somewhere, very happy indeed. In a strictly bling-tastic kind of way of course. No really. Stop laughing. $49.95.  Safe for use on soft-metal grained surfaces, the kit includes an ergonomic grip tool, small- and broad-scratch abrasive pads, coarse reconditioning pad, fine finishing pad, 3/4 oz. bottle of UltraShine polish, a…

Fring – Skype for mobiles

Fring. Wow, yet another astonishingly cool tech launches. Basically we’re talking mobile P2P VoIP. So now you can use Skype or Google Talk on your mobile phone, with full functionality, no need for additional hardware or a PC in between. Forget about Eqo, with its patchy functionality, this puppy works. I installed Fring in about 5 minutes over SMS and immediately all of my Skype contacts appeared on my handset ready to chat, call or Skype Out. Super super clever. No…
