SproutLiner – the online ideas processor

SproutLiner is a free ‘no reg needed’ outliner cum to-do list which has the kind of minimalist interface that makes Google look like a bloated haddock. I like the functionality a lot, although the performance really sucks. Seven seconds to close a tab outline? Tsk. Anyway it’s beta, so let’s cut some slack.  Sproutliner is a free web service that helps you manage your projects and ideas (think of it as a supercharged structured to-do list). It uses some rather smashing client-side…

Hmm… Anyhoo, the real difference is apparently down to the fact that Peekamo SMS communications are two way rather than just outward. US only at the moment. Worth a look…? Peekamo’s…

R/C Hopping Yodelling Lederhosen – er…

Remote Control Hopping Yodelling Lederhosen. Sometimes, just now and then, we kind of come to the conclusion that we won’t be able to do this stuff for much longer. That the pain, the unbelievable agony, will eventually outweigh the gain. That the joy of the good, will be overshadowed permanently and violently in our mind by the awful – the shudderingly, oh good grief surely not, please don’t let it happen again, I’m gonna scream – awful. We are close to that point. $19.95. Video….

Google Map Icons for real – mark those important little places

I just love the idea of sticking huge Google Map icons into the real world, as this German artist has done. Maybe they could reference something from online and really confuse people? Video.  While zooming in the map the pixel size of the markers on the screen always stay at the same size. But if their size is seen in relation to their environment they shrink while the user does zoom in the map. Tags: google+map+icons
