Face recognition comes to Google – behold, the ugly mug ball

According to Google Blogoscoped [via Ars Technica], Google searches can now be filtered by face. So if you want to search for a set of faces only in the images section, just add ‘&imgtype=face’ (without the quotes) to the search string in the address bar and select the images tab, and you’ll see a bunch of faces lookin’ back atcha.
