Are mobile phones affecting the bees?

This report from The Telegraph in the UK reports on some Indian research which appears to show that the worrying decline in honey bees could be caused by our increasing use of mobile phones. Apparently the scientist stuck a mobile phone into a bee hive and powered it on every day for 30 minutes. After three months the number of bees in the hive had drastically declined, the Queen had reduced her egg laying and the bees had stopped producing honey. Pretty serious…
